Babies In Cloth is gearing up to get going… but we need your help!

We need to raise funds to get our non-profit status. What does this mean to you? Having our non-profit status means we can issue tax receipts. This is fantastic because it benefits you come tax time and it also motivates Cloth Diaper Manufacturers to donate their products… with means fantastic quality diapers to offer on loan to Canadian Families in need.

This weekend we will be launching one or maybe two contests to raise funds for our Non-Profit Status. Please know this means that we can NOT hand out receipts at this time… but we are hoping after these contests we’ll be able to file the paperwork and hand out receipts for future donations.

Years in Business: Since 2001, doing MD Diapers since 2005

Monkey Doodlez was born from the result of frustration of finding a good fitting, easy to use diaper made from comfortable, natural fibers. A business that started on a dining room table, Monkey Doodlez diapers are now sold all around the world and have always been very proudly made in Canada.

Monkey Doodlez is very pleased to announce the upcoming release of our new, patent pending, Tuck and Go Diapering System. This system has been rigorously tested for more than 18 months to ensure the best performance. Our testers were so happy with these that most of them refused to return them at the end of the trial period. Our Tuck And Go system offers the conveniences and fit of an All-In-One, the advantages of a pocket, and cost savings of a 2 step system, but without the hassles, stuffing, longer drying times and without having to touch a soiled diaper. Watch for these at your favourite Monkey Doodlez retailer in December!

Babies In Cloth started one day as a small idea when I was, yet again, asked by a customer where they could donate their cloth diapers too. Hmm, what a neat idea, so I did a little research, ok a lot of research, and Babies In Cloth was born. It didn’t take long at all to find several other women interested in helping this project along and we quickly had a board of directors. Then the work started.

To begin, Babies in Cloth will collect donations of cloth diapers and lend them to families interested in cloth diapering, but unable to afford the start up costs. Along with a supply of cloth diapers, will also provide recipients with an assortment of resources and information to help them with their cloth diapering journey. In time, our dream is be involved in communities across Canada, advocating for, and providing education about the cloth diapering world. We hope to provide recipients with one on one consultations with exprerienced volunteer cloth diapering parents, to help have all their questions answered. We also hope to eventually be a one stop resource for all Canadian cloth diapering information. And, of course, we hope that we will be able to collect enough cloth diapers to provide for all the families in need across Canada.
